ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST (Full-Time)

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and reconcile detailed general ledger accounts.
  • Monitor ATM and Shared Branch operations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Process ACH and wire transfers promptly and securely.
  • Perform all accounts payable functions with precision.
  • Analyze financial data and make sound, independent judgments.
  • Support the accounting team with operational tasks and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred).
  • At least three years of accounting experience in a financial services environment (credit union experience preferred).
  • Previous account reconciliation and accounts payable experience required.

SYSTEMS ANALYST (Full-Time)

Join Our Team as a Systems Analyst!

As a Systems Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting Henrico Federal Credit Union’s digital infrastructure. This position ensures employees have reliable access to technology resources and provides first-tier support for hardware, software, and system-related issues.

Responsibilities include system monitoring, troubleshooting, forms development, user access management, and support for online applications, e-signature platforms, and core-related systems. You’ll also assist with implementations, documentation, and compliance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain Credit Union systems and applications
  • Provide first-tier technical support and resolve system access issues
  • Assist with form development and reporting needs
  • Support online applications, e-signature platforms, and core systems
  • Participate in system upgrades and special projects
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with departments to improve system functionality
  • Deliver excellent internal service and build trusted relationships

Qualifications:

  • Two years of computer-related college coursework or vocational training and appropriate certification (four-year degree in information technology or related field and/or certifications preferred)
  • Two to five years of similar or related experience in PC hardware/software configuration and network support, including time spent in preparatory positions
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, Teams, and basic business machines
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Commitment to internal service excellence
