Join Our Team as a Retail Training Specialist!

As a Retail Training Specialist, you will design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs for all Retail staff. This newly designed role ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their roles effectively and in alignment with the Credit Union’s standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include onboarding, ongoing training, curriculum development, product and policy training, performance support, and documentation. You may also serve as a Teller, FSR, or Contact Center FSR as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing education initiatives.
  • Create training materials and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Retail leadership to identify training needs.
  • Ensure training aligns with Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Provide performance support and coaching.
  • Serve in frontline roles as needed to support operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; two-year college degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of related experience in a financial services environment (credit union preferred).
  • Previous training experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • At least one year of experience as a Senior Teller or FSR.
  • Thorough knowledge of training and development processes.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  • Commitment to internal service excellence.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, Teams, and basic business machines.

TELLER (Full-Time)

CONTACT CENTER FSR (Full-Time)

As a Contact Center FSR, you will assist members with a wide range of services through multiple channels, including opening accounts, cross-selling Credit Union services, conducting loan interviews, answering questions, and performing account maintenance. You will handle member inquiries and transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier's checks, while conducting financial interviews to align products with members' needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond quickly and courteously to member emails and calls
  • Perform member service functions, including account openings, loan applications, and cross-selling
  • Manage loan/deposit pipelines and assist with loan processing
  • Promote ancillary loan products and perform file maintenance
  • Resolve member inquiries and provide financial solutions
  • Maintain professional relationships and emulate exceptional service standards

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; two-year college degree in business or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of related experience in a financial services environment (credit union preferred)
  • Experience in a call center environment, handling customer inquiries and providing support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in using PCs with Windows applications (Microsoft 365 and Teams)
