MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking an energetic Member Service Representative (MSR) with an outstanding positive and flexible attitude, enthusiasm for building member relations and strong multi-tasking and verbal communication skills to serve at any one of our eight branch locations in Henrico and Chesterfield during position vacancies or for general member service support. 

 

MSRs create an exceptional first impression to our members and potential members. Duties include welcoming members in person and by phone, directing members in a friendly, professional manner based on their specific needs, providing general Credit Union information, opening deposit accounts, entering and updating member information, performing financial transactions (including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, cash advances, etc.) as well as a variety of other functions related to Credit Union operations.

 

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy communicating with people. Relationship building skills are a plus. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional member service, including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of member satisfaction is desired. Ability to promote use of credit union products and services in an open and friendly manner is required. A great internal service commitment and ability to work well within a team-focused environment is also required.  Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.  Candidate must have great attention to detail to perform a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

 

Completion of four-year high school education (or equivalent), one year of public contact work and at least six months of similar or related experience is required; previous cash handling and/or sales (or lending) experience in a financial services environment (or a similar retail services environment) is desirable; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

 

 

 

TELLER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a Teller Service Representative for our Laburnum Branch (located at 1202 North Laburnum Ave in Henrico) to provide exceptional service by processing members' financial transactions with accuracy and offering solutions to meet their financial needs. Positive and flexible attitude, enthusiasm for multi-tasking, and strong verbal skills are required.

 

The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy communicating with people. Relationship building skills are a plus.
